《福爾摩斯探案：鋸齒手術刀》是一款冒險遊戲。
1888年11月，福爾摩斯受蘇格蘭場的雷斯垂德探長委託，協助調查一名年輕女演員莎拉·卡洛威的謀殺案。她在倫敦梅費爾區的一家劇院外遭到殺害。雷斯垂德認為她的死法顯示這是開膛手傑克的另一件犯案，但福爾摩斯認為兇手另有其人。證據顯示，受害者是被一種特殊的刀所殺，這種刀形狀類似手術刀，但刀刃為鋸齒狀。
調查過程中，福爾摩斯與華生醫生前往19世紀末倫敦的多個地點，包括一家香水店、動物園、停屍間、一間酒吧、蘇格蘭場、薩里商業碼頭、薩伏伊街碼頭、聖潘克拉斯火車站，當然還有他們的住所——貝克街221B。他們遇到了一些與案件相關的人物，也得到了雷格森探長、貝克街小分隊領袖威金斯的協助，以及追蹤犬托比的寶貴支持。
