『Ignition（イグニッション）』は、Virgin Interactive が開発し、Interplay より発売されたアーケード風トップダウン視点のレースゲームである。スピード感のある展開、ユニークな車種、カオスなコースで知られ、90年代後半の PC レースファンの間でカルト的な人気を獲得した。
登場する車両は多彩で、一般的なセダンやトラックから、スクールバス、パトカー、さらには UFO まで揃っている。各車両は加速性能やハンドリング、耐久性が異なり、繰り返しプレイによる試行錯誤が楽しめる。
コースにはショートカット、障害物、動くトラップ、インタラクティブ要素が組み込まれており、レース展開は毎回異なる。ドリフトやタイトなコーナリングを駆使する操作性は、熟練プレイヤーほど有利になる設計となっている。
