『タイムコマンド』は、アドラインソフトウェアが開発したアクションアドベンチャーコンピュータゲームです。
歴史的戦術センターでは、軍と民間企業の協力により、任意の歴史的な戦闘をシミュレートできるコンピュータが作成されました。しかし、ライバル企業のプログラマーが「プレデターウイルス」をシステムに感染させ、世界を飲み込む危険な時空歪曲渦を引き起こします。このウイルスを排除するために、プレイヤーは施設内のS.A.V.E.（ウイルス排除特別行動）オペレーター、スタンリー・オパーを操作し、渦の中に入ります。
