「トゥームレイダー」は1996年にCore Designによって開発され、Eidos Interactiveによって発売されたアクションアドベンチャーゲームです。
このゲームは考古学者で冒険家のララ・クロフトが、ビジネスウーマンのジャクリーン・ナトラに雇われ、アトランティスのスカイオンというアーティファクトを探す物語です。ゲームプレイでは、ララがレベルをナビゲートし、複数のエリアや部屋の複合体を探索しながら敵と戦い、パズルを解いて進んでいきます。
2つの新しいエリアは「アンフィニッシュド・ビジネス」と呼ばれ、アトランティスのピラミッドの遺跡内に設定されており、「シャドウ・オブ・ザ・キャット」ではララが女神バステトに捧げられたエジプトの神殿を探索します。「アンフィニッシュド・ビジネス」は、より多くのミュータント敵と複雑なプラットフォーム要素に焦点を当てた、ゲームの代替的でより難易度の高いフィナーレとして意図されていました。
これは、フルカットシーンとCD音楽トラックを備えたアンフィニッシュド・ビジネス拡張版のCDバージョンです。セーブファイルはオリジナルゲームと連携しています。
