復活邪魔(Brandish)是由日本知名的遊戲製造廠商—FALCOM公司所設計。在遊戲界中，FALCOM一向擅長於角色扮演遊戲的設計。
本遊戲在眾多的日本角色扮演遊戲中可以說是一個異數，它不像標準的日式角色扮演遊戲那樣只著重人物的升級以及劇情的發展，反而以解謎的過程為目的。整個遊戲以2D畫面呈現，採單人即時方式戰鬥。劇情較難於遊戲中了解，主要是解開各種謎題以通過迷宮，和魔界召喚有點類似。遊戲中共計有44個迷宮，算是個頗大的遊戲，因此要玩完需要花費不少時間。而主角的能力係隨著攻防的經驗逐漸累積增加，設計得還算合理，難度並不算高，謎題的難度也適中。
