『Loom』 は Lucasfilm Games（のちの LucasArts）が 1990年に DOS、Atari ST、Amiga、Mac OS、FM‑Towns 向けに発売したファンタジーアドベンチャーゲーム。Brian Moriarty によってデザインされ、SCUMM エンジンを使用したが、従来の動詞メニューやアイテム収集を廃し独自の音楽インターフェイスを採用。
主人公は「紡ぎ手ギルド」の若者 Bobbin Threadbare。プレイヤーは Distaff（紡錘法杖） を使い、環境から学んだ旋律 (“drafts”) を演奏して魔法を発動する。例えば「染める（Dye）」を逆順で演奏すると「漂白（Bleach）」に効果が反転。初めは音符 C, D, E だけ使用可能で、進行につれて F, G, A, B, C′ が追加される。Expertモードでは特別なエンディングが見られる。
主人公 Bobbin は、自らのギルドが邪悪な「カオス」によって滅亡の危機に瀕する中で養育された。17歳の誕生日にギルドの者たちは次々と白鳥と化し、Bobbin は真実を探るべく Loom Island を離れ、「偉大な織機（The Great Loom）」を掌握して世界を救う旅に出る。死ぬことも行き詰まることもない、安全設計の冒険。
