Le troisième jeu Brandish est sous-titré Spirit of Balcan. Le « Balcan » mentionné ici était le maître de Dela, et le même homme qu'Ares a tué avant le premier jeu. Mais il a une nouvelle quête pour eux depuis l'au-delà : explorer le royaume de Fiberia. Brandish 3 est encore une fois très similaire à ses prédécesseurs, avec peu d'ajouts visibles, l'un étant la mini-carte agrandie, afin que vous n'ayez pas à plisser les yeux. Il y a aussi une nouvelle attaque sautée, une attaque chargée et une manœuvre de pas en arrière.
Le plus grand changement est qu'il y a quatre personnages jouables. Ares en fait partie, bien sûr, et vous pouvez enfin jouer Dela. De plus, deux autres personnages ont été ajoutés. Bien qu'ils diffèrent légèrement dans leurs scénarios et leurs capacités, tous les donjons sont à peu près les mêmes, si bien que votre expérience restera presque identique quel que soit le personnage choisi. Il ajoute également plusieurs personnages importants supplémentaires dans l'histoire, dont Mirelle, la sœur adoptive de Dora.
