O predecessor deste jogo é um programa de xadrez chinês escrito por Yu Xishun quando ele estava na faculdade. Ele venceu muitos campeonatos de competições de xadrez por computador. Pode-se dizer que foi o jogo de xadrez chinês mais forte da era DOS. Estima-se inicialmente que haja mais de 2 níveis. Embora já não seja tão bom quanto os jogos de xadrez atuais, ainda é suficiente para jogadores comuns treinarem suas habilidades. O jogo inteiro adota um sistema de desafios contra oponentes para acumular pontos e disputar classificação. Se você conseguir derrotar o velho Shibi no jogo e passar no teste de força enxadrística, poderá enviar os dados salvos a Yu Xishun para solicitar o certificado de força de primeiro nível da Associação Chinesa de Xadrez. Portanto, jogadores que gostam de xadrez chinês não devem perder este jogo.
