《玩具兵大战（Army Men）》是 3DO 于 1998 年推出的即时战术游戏，用“塑料兵人打仗”的童年想象当作严肃军事片来拍：绿色兵团与棕色兵团在后院、沙地、雪地与沼泽等场景里开战，战场看起来像玩具世界，但作战节奏却很讲究推进与取舍。你通常以“中士 Sarge”为核心带队行动，一边完成侦察、突入、破坏、护送等目标，一边在火力点与地形之间找安全路线，把小队从一段段“微缩战区”里推过去。
它的叙事气质也很特别：用黑白“战地新闻纪录片”风格的过场去强调荒诞与认真并存——你明明在操控塑料小人，却会被当作一场真正的前线战役来讲述。整体体验更偏“带队闯关”的张力：你需要在有限资源下保持队伍完整，抓住武器补给与时机窗口，稳稳地把战线往前推。中国大陆后来也出现由育碧提供的官方中文版版本，被中文玩家长期以“玩具兵大战”来称呼。
