《英雄傳說4：朱紅血》是由日本Falcom在1996年開發的角色扮演類遊戲系列《英雄傳說系列》的第4部作品，系列第二期《卡卡布三部曲》的第2部作品。
故事發生在卡卡布一側的艾爾·菲爾丁大陸。
艾文和艾梅爾是一對從小父母雙亡的兄妹，他們被巴魯多斯教會最高導師艾斯佩利烏斯收養，生活在大聖堂（Cathedral）。一天，大聖堂遭到了崇拜黑暗之神的歐庫托姆教派襲擊，大聖堂失陷，艾斯佩利烏斯為掩護大家撤離犧牲了，艾文和艾梅爾也從此失散，天各一方。此後，艾文跟隨賢者雷慕拉斯在大陸東端的烏爾特村學習和生活，在那裏他和一個比他大一歲的男孩麥爾成為了好朋友。時光流逝，8年過去了，雷慕拉斯年事已高，撒手人寰。在臨終前他將一個神寶託付給艾文，讓他交給智者迪納坎。為了達成雷慕拉斯的遺願，也為了尋找失散多年的妹妹，艾文就此和麥爾一同踏上了冒險的旅途。
