Royal Blood II: Dinar Oukoku Nendaiki (1999)
KOEI

Play

"Royal Blood II: Chronicles of the Dinar Kingdom" is a Windows simulation game released by Koei (now Koei Tecmo Games) in 1999.
As the second title in Koei's "Imagination Game" genre, the game bears no narrative or system ties to its predecessor, "Royal Blood," despite the "II" in its name. Its mechanics, including micromanagement, unit deployment, and movement, resemble those in "Genghis Khan IV: Blue Wolf and White Doe," released the previous year. However, it introduces unique features, such as a storyline centered on the conflict between the forces of light and darkness, dungeon exploration alongside city-building, and the ability to upgrade facilities into large-scale structures through priestess power. Players can choose to align with either the light or dark factions, offering diverse gameplay experiences.
