Silver est un jeu vidéo de rôle d'action.
Silver se déroule dans la région insulaire de Jarrah, communément appelée la « Roue de la Vie » parce qu'elle a la forme d'une roue. Jarrah est contrôlée par Silver, un sorcier maléfique résidant sur une île de sang. Heureusement, tout Jarrah n'est pas sous son influence cruelle. Dans la lointaine forêt de Verdante, David, un jeune homme, vit paisiblement avec sa femme Jennifer et son grand-père.
L'histoire commence lorsque Silver décide de prendre une nouvelle épouse. Il ordonne à son armée d'amener toutes les femmes sur son île, afin de pouvoir choisir celle qu'il désire. Jennifer, l'épouse de David, est enlevée personnellement par Fuge, le fils de Silver, qui semble connaître le grand-père de David depuis le passé. Avec son grand-père, David quitte la forêt pour libérer sa femme, mais ils arrivent trop tard. Sa femme est déjà sur un navire qui vient de quitter le port. Ils entendent des rumeurs sur la résistance, un groupe rebelle dont le but est de mettre enfin un terme au règne de Silver.
