Uncharted Waters IV: Porto Estado - Power Up Kit est la version étendue d'Uncharted Waters IV: Porto Estado, et son plus grand ajout est l'inclusion de trois nouveaux protagonistes jouables, transformant le jeu en une aventure maritime bien plus large que la version de base. Situé pendant l'Âge des découvertes de l'Europe du XVIe siècle, le jeu mêle commerce, exploration, chasse aux reliques, gestion d'équipage, diplomatie et conflit naval dans un voyage mondial pour la suprématie sur les sept zones maritimes. L'histoire officielle de la série présente spécifiquement cette version comme une nouvelle aventure avec de nouveaux membres d'équipage et trois histoires de héros distinctes, toutes liées au mystère du "Hasha no Akashi". Pour cette raison, le Power Up Kit ressemble moins à une petite extension bonus qu'à la forme plus complète et plus riche en contenu d'Uncharted Waters IV dont de nombreux joueurs se souviennent le plus fortement.
